Kuliah Wada’: Ijazah Sanad Kitab-kitab Pesantren
“Di luar pesantren kalian harus bisa membuktikan diri tetap menjadi santri,” pinta KH Moh. Idris Djamaluddin S.Pd.I, yang akrab disapa Gus Idris.
Pernyataan itu disampaikan pada Kuliah Wada’ di Auditorium Kampus IAIBAFA pada Selasa, 14 Maret 2023.
Menurutnya santri adalah mereka yang pulang dan bergaul dengan masyarakat dalam waktu yang lama, namun tetap berpegang teguh pada Ahlus Sunnah wal Jamaah dan istiqomah memiliki akhlaqul karimah.
“Menjadi santri disebuah pesantren itu memang dijaga oleh doa para masyaikhnya. Tapi tidak boleh lengah dari makruh nya Allah,” jelasnya.
Gus Idris memberi amanat kepada para wisudawan-wisudawati agar menjaga kewajiban kolektif, yaitu merawat ideologi Nahdatul Ulama dalam persoalan negara bangsa. Menjaga agama tanpa mengganggu-gugat negara bangsa. Dan menjaga negara bangsa tanpa harus membenturkannya dengan perkara agama.
“Yang perlu difikirkan sebagai santri di masa mendatang adalah mencapai keadilan dan kesejahteraan. NU sudah selesai membahas ideologi terhadap negara. Sudah selayaknya tidak lagi berfikir pondasi,” ulasnya.
Gus Idris juga mewanti-wanti dari mana dan dari siapa asal ilmu agama yang didapatkan.
“Imam Nawawi memberikan kriteria khusus bagi orang yang akan memilih dari siapa ia mengambil ilmu,” jelasnya.
Pertama, orang-orang yang sempurna keahlian di bidang ilmu agama. Kedua, kuat menjaga agamanya. Ketiga, menunjukkan keluasan mata batinnya. Keempat, dapat menjaga marwah dan martabatnya.
Bersamaan dengan penjelasannya ini, Gus Idris membagikan ijazah sanad kitab-kitab pesantren yang biasa dikaji di pesantren Bahrul Ulum Tambakberas Jombang.
